Fêtes, Fayres and Fund raising events are part of the fabric of our life. Sometimes they are centred around something spiritually uplifting like a display of flowers, works of art, or inspiring music, but so often they are simply money spinners on a playing field or in a village hall. Born of a need to represent the Christian Church in a materialistic world, the Rhythm of Life is our benefice response. The Rhythm of Life aims to bring a spiritual dimension to our fund raising events and secular meetings.
The Rhythm takes the form of a tent with three parts.
The main part is an area of information about the Christian church, especially Baptism, Ma

rriage and Funerals. There are leaflets and books, as well as Christian people on hand to help find what you need.
The second part is a quiet area for prayer and reflection, with a trained "listener" on hand to hear your story if you want to share it.
The third part represents the joy of life in God, and includes puppet shows, prayer activities and videos of Bible stories.
The tent is available to visit any fêtes, fairs or other occasions where you might like such a presence. You will need to be able to provide four or six able bodied people to help put up the tent. (If you prefer we can put the exhibition in a hall, or meeting room.) Contact Norman Steer (see the Who's Who? page), or use the
