The sunflowers came to our deanery in style.

A short while before Easter most houses in our Deanery received a pack of sunflower seeds, instructions on how to grow them, and what they can be used for.

The Deanery Service at 6.30pm in Burston on 26th July celebrated our efforts. The bishop of Norwich preached a very moving sermon on the Christian symbolism inherent in the sunflower. The service included a presentation of some of the pictures we have received. These are shown below. You can still send us our pictures for inclusion here. You can be as creative as you like about how you interpret the “Sunflower” theme.

To get your picture on the site e-mail it to contact@thebenefice.co.uk or ask me to come and take a picture.

Look out for next year's "Easter Event"
