Rushall: St Mary, Rushall

About our Church:
The church building is located close to the centre of the village. It has a fine example of an East Anglian round tower, which houses one bell hung for full circle ringing.
Built: Anglo-Saxon tower, octagonal belfry 15th century
Our Patron: Emmanuel College, Cambridge
Churchwarden: Mrs R. Glyn-Davies
Our Location:
Harleston Road, Rushall, Norfolk, IP21 4RX
We are right at the centre on the location map on the contact page. The map doesn't give us a name, but it does put us at the heart of the benefice!

From September 2011 this service pattern will change so that there will usually be a service at 11am, plus a said communion at 8am on the fourth Sunday.
Meditation:
On the first Wednesday of each month at 2.00 pm, we are hosting a Benefice Meditation. It doesn't matter if you have never tried meditation before, come along and find out what it is about. The meeting will be at Springfields, Station Road, Pulham St Mary during the winter. Check the Worship page for up-to-date information.
Friday Prayers:
Each week prayers are said for the village and the benefice. If Gale is away she will say the service wherever she is. If no-one else is there, please feel free to go in to church to say your own prayers. These prayer times are open to all. If you want particular prayers to be said, but are unable to be there, please contact the rector.
Every Friday at 9:00 am for about ½ hour

News from Rushall:
Rushall PCC hosted a smashing evening of music and singing at The Pennoyers Centre. We were most fortunate to have Andy Cox and his 'Jacob's Ladder' group leading our singing, and the rafters fairly shook. The young musicians are all stunningly skilled, and we had a great time joining in with the variety of songs. Rebecca Heaser and Alice Macfarlane also entertained us beautifully, John Adlam joined in with his trumpet, and the talented Rushall cooks produced a brilliant hot-pot supper.
Pennoyers was 'standing room only', and is a perfect place to hold a small function. Thanks of course to the hard-working PCC for laying on a great evening, and well done with the fund-raising!
